2. If you are attending a local University, Bare with your family for as long as you can. Squat with them and you will save on the stresses of dealing with as much financial issues, like food, rent, bills, etc. If you can't live with your parents Ask them for Financial help. It never hurts to ask and most families are willing to contribute to their children's futures. 3. Park farther away from the University. Parking fees usually decrease as the lots get further away from the university's center. You may even be able to find a free place to park. The exercise will help, and the extra money in your pocket won't be that bad either. If you are a female it would be recommended to go in a group or get security to escort you to your vehicle if you stay at school late. 4. You get exercise, you don't need a parking spot, AND you don't have to pay for gas. If you are at school late and don't feel safe walking, take the bus or carpool with a friend.
7. Buy a coffee maker, or kettle. Let's face it, how much do you spend on coffee or tea a month? That money could be saved for other more important things like movie rentals. You can keep it in your locker OR if you have access to a lab that will allow it or personal study area keep it there and share the wealth (and the cost) by letting your buddies use it if they toss in some coffee grinds or milk on occasion. 8. When shopping use any discount opportunity you can; use coupons, buy At sales, use club points, and USE YOUR STUDENT DISCOUNTS. 9. If you must use a credit card, use one with low rates that offers reward points THAT YOU WILL USE!! |
