The Cold Hard Truth
I know your not going to like it but I'm going to tell you what you already know...
University is tough. You are constantly forced to perform to your best ability. And unlike a full time job, when you go home you are still obligated to study. Many students crumple under the pressure every year, don't let this happen to you. Know that you will have to study a lot, But try to ensure that you study effectively and efficiently, learn what works for you and try to make it better. I have listed some of my tips and tricks in the next section.
When you're faced with a challenge, don't give up or give in! Face it, and figure out how to defeat it. Learn what your learning style is, learn what sort of environment you study best in, know your strengths and most importantly know your weaknesses. University is about learning about the world around you, but surviving University is about learning about YOU. Know yourself and apply these traits to best optimize your study and homework session.
If you do this, University will pose less challenges and ultimately, be a breeze. |
