Finding Financial Aid
Finding scholarships, Student loans, and pretty much any sort of Financial Aid is sometimes a tough thing to accomplish. There are thousands of scholarships and awards out there why is it so hard to get them? Many of us finish our degrees and have to find student loan consolidation in order to bring high interest rates down. The main reason is that most people don't know how to look for scholarships or are too lazy to jump through the hoops to apply. NSERC is also a good one to apply for if you are a science or engineering student, just fill out the one page application and hand it to your faculty office, They will usually filter it and and if they think you don't qualify for a scholarship through NSERC they will see if they can get you a university based one. Click on the student and fellows tab and then click on what awards you would like to apply to.
Office of Northern and Rural Health If you plan on doing work In the medical field, be it doctor or nursing or otherwise Think about doing some work up North and get into some sweet scholarships.
To find obscure scholarships/loans
1. See if your school has any, Ask your faculty, look on your university website, etc.
2. Grab a pen and paper and Make a list about yourself, include things like
